IGBTs

An IGBT is an insulated-gate bipolar transistor

IGBTs are three-terminal semiconductor devices (emitter, collector, gate) found in power-switching applications. The internal structure of an IGBT is similar to that of a PNP BJT transistor cascaded with an n-channel MOSFET. Because of their rapid turn-on, turn-off and power- handling abilities, IGBTs are commonly used in switching power supplies, electric cars and variable frequency drives. Using our powerful platform, you can find a wide range of IGBT suppliers and other transistor providers.
